Privacy

Take It Apart is built so that we don't receive your information in the first place.

Your camera

Your browser asks before the camera turns on. The video is processed by software running on your own computer to find your hands. It is not sent to us or to anyone else, and it is not saved unless you record a clip.

Models you open

A file you open is read by your browser and stays on your computer. It is not uploaded, and it's gone from the page when you close it.

Clips you record

Clips are saved to your own device. They only go anywhere if you choose to share them yourself.

Accounts, cookies and tracking

There are no accounts, no advertising and no analytics, and we don't set cookies. Your browser remembers on your device whether you've finished the tutorial. Clearing your browser's site data removes that.

Our hosting provider

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Children

We don't collect personal information from anyone, including children. Younger users should ask an adult before turning on a camera.

Changes

If this changes, we'll update this page before the change takes effect.
